5th Grade Dances

A Dance spondored by the WUMC UMYF for community 5th graders several times a school year.  

Dances are held on Friday nights throughout the school year.

Dances are open to any FIFTH GRADE student in Carroll County. No other grades are allowed to attend dances.  

​

Where:  Westminster United Methodist Church, entrance in back of church off of Winters Ave.  

​

When:  Dates listed below. 

Doors open at 7pm and students must be picked up by 9pm.  

​

Cost:  $8.00 a student 

​

Other Details:  Students must abide by 5th grade dance rules (which are displayed throughout the dance and on flyers and door prize cards.  Students will be sent home for any violence, harming others, or multiple referrals for behavior.  

​

Concessions (Snacks, pizza, soda, juice) are available for purchase, water is free from water fountain.  

​

Dances have a 1 student to 8 adult ratio

​

Dances are run by the UMYF of Westminster United Methodist Church and benefit the UMYF and other service oriented organizations (Crossroads Christian Preschool, Hope for Haiti, Carroll County Cold Weather Shelter, and more).
